Orientation & Clearances

Strong Leader Orientation

All new volunteers, including Strong Leader mentors, event volunteers, and other participants, must participate in a virtual 90-minute orientation session with SWSG before they can begin to volunteer. Returning Strong Leaders are not required to attend but are welcome.

Fall 2024 orientations will be held virtually on:

Required Clearances (Pennsylvania)

All Pennsylvania volunteers are required to complete FBI, Act 33, and 34 clearances.

New Volunteers: Submit clearances below and include expiration dates.
Returning Volunteers: Your local SWSG office will review your existing clearances, and someone will be in touch to share the appropriate next steps based on what's on file.

Required Clearances (Massachusetts)

All SWSG volunteers are required to complete an annual CORI check through Boston Public Schools. To complete the CORI check, please complete and submit the external form linked below and upload a photo of a non-expired government-issued photo ID. Upload the same government-issued ID named on the CORI form.
